Slice of Life was a record of a time and place. In Parkinson's terms, a relatively benign place.
Many of you have been kind enough to say that you enjoyed my writing and particularly my writing style. Often I was told that it made you laugh. others, the whimsy and nostalgia were what floats your boat.
There are of course other bloggers on the net.
Two that I particularly recommend are "Positively Parkinson's" (http://www.positivelyparkinsons.blogspot.com) by Bob Kuhn and "Shadows and Light" (http://www.shadowsandlight.blog.com), by an anonymous writer.
Different perspectives perhaps but both, in my view, worth reading.
